Mentoring for Muslim Children
Welcome to MAP Mentoring, where we empower Muslim children (ages 8 to 15) through transformational guidance, nurturing their intellectual, emotional, moral, and spiritual growth. We help your child build firm Islamic values and an upright character that give you the joy you desire as a parent.
Parents’ Vision, Our Mission
At MAP Mentoring, we help you inculcate Islamic traits in your children, thus fostering their emotional intelligence, academic excellence and spiritual awareness.
Having a decade’s experience of mentoring Muslim children, we have identified the key strengths to nurture their growth, the common challenges to address, and the primary expectations that most Muslim parents have for their children.
Key strengths we help your child develop and enhance:
- Devotion to faith (Imaan) and worship (Ibaadah) – Foundational for your child’s Islamic identity and spiritual development.
- Academic excellence- Vital for your child’s scholastic and career success.
- Emotional Intelligence- Essential for your child’s self and social awareness as well as self and relationship management.
- Good characters such as honesty, obedience, calmness and diligence – A reflection of your child’s good manners and discipline.
- Zeal for knowledge and learning – Fundamental for your child’s continuous self-improvement and growth.
Challenges We Help Your Child Overcome:
- Inattention and lack of focus – Affects your child’s academic performance and personal growth.
- Laziness and neglect of responsibilities – Creates dependency and lack of accountability for your child.
- Peer influence and fear of missing out (FOMO)– Exposes your child to the risks of adopting negative behaviors.
- Low emotional intelligence and self-confidence – Impacts your child’s sense of empathy and resilience.
- Tech addiction- Affects your child’s time management, consistency in religious and personal commitments.
We recognize your expectations as parents for enrolling your child with MAP mentoring, including:
- To guide them on the path of Islam and its practice.
- To improve their confidence, self-esteem and resilience.
- To build positive character and manners required of a good Muslim.
- To learn life lessons that prepare them for real-world challenges.
- To consolidate their strengths and correct their weaknesses for all-rounded development.

How It Works
Our mentoring program is thoughtfully designed to cater to each child’s unique needs. We offer both group mentoring sessions and one-on-one mentoring, with each type conducted weekly. This ensures personalized attention and a sense of community.

Group Mentoring Sessions:
Once a week, children join a dynamic group setting where they learn, share, and grow together with peers in an engaging and supportive environment.

Individual-Based Mentoring:
Each child receives personalized attention in a one-on-one session with their dedicated mentor every week, tailored to their specific strengths, weaknesses, and goals.

Exclusive Monthly Resources:
Each month, mentees receive a mentoring resource to aid their learning, while parents get well-researched resources to support their parenting journey.
After enrollment, every mentee is carefully assigned to an individual mentor who will guide them throughout their journey, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and fostering continuous growth.
This dual approach ensures that your child benefits from both collective learning experiences and focused individual support, setting the stage for holistic development.
